Brooke is a wonderful photographer who brings out the best in her clients. My wife and I met with Brooke for a maternity photo session and were impressed not only with her experience and insights into this type of photo session, but at the way she took our ideas into consideration, to make the shoot truly a collaboration. Her sense of humor made it easy for us to get comfortable and we hardly noticed the click of the shutter. During the shoot, she could work quickly to capture the best light; however, when we saw the results, we knew that behind her efficient manner in the field is a deep knowledge of photography. The results were amazing! We received a DVD with a slide show and the best photographs of the session soon afterwards, and love showing everyone Brooke's work. Brooke Roby of Brooke Roby Photography is amazing! When my husband and I found out we were pregnant with our first child, we were ecstatic. Brooke suggested we take maternity photos. I was a bit uncomfortable having photos taken of myself, much less my belly; but Brooke made me feel right at home, and my husband and I both enjoyed having our photos taken. I loved Brooke’s creativity, her use of blocks on my belly, and her enthusiasm for what she was doing. Brooke has now taken our daughter’s photos at the ages of four days and again at six months. She is amazingly talented. At each photo shoot she captures the essence of our daughter’s personality. A mother herself, she is able to identify a child’s temperament and is very patient with her subjects, even when they get fussy. Brooke is creative, imaginative, and always has something new and innovative to add to the photo shoot (our daughter looks adorable in a tutu!!). Brooke is amazing! She has captured incredible images from my pregnancy and of my newborn that I will cherish forever. Brooke creates a comfortable and fun atmosphere that makes for amazing pictures, so much better than the stiff and uncomfortable pictures we have done with other photographers.
